First Time Guests

We are very excited to welcome you and your child to our Preschool Ministry here at Valley Baptist Church.  Thank you for allowing us to be a part of your child’s spiritual foundation for a lifetime of growth in Jesus Christ. It is our prayer that you will consider your time here well spent.

The goals of our ministry are:

  • · To help each feel comfortable, secure and loved thus knowing he is special.
  • · To provide a safe, clean and happy Christian environment for preschoolers while at church.
  • · To help each child have positive feelings about people and things associated with God.
  • · To help each child know the Bible is a special book that tells about God and Jesus.
  • · To lay a spiritual foundation so that each child is aware of God’s love.
  • · To help each child make progress solving problems, sharing and thinking of others.
  • · To encourage the active participation of parents in worship, Bible study, fellowship, and service.

Sunday School Registration/Security Check-In

Each Sunday, staff, and volunteers work hard to provide a safe and meaningful class experience for your preschooler. Here are a few things you need to know to help us make the experience GREAT:
Click HERE for On-Line Sunday School Registration.

· The first time your child joins us for Sunday School, please visit the "First Time Guest" receptionist station in the lobby. This is where your child will be entered into our database and assigned an age-appropriate classroom.

· Teachers will be prepared to receive your child into their classroom 15 minutes before the start of the service.

· Please be sure that all items that belong to your child are labeled.

· It is important to inform the teachers of any allergies or health concerns. We provide Wheat Thins, Saltines, Goldfish, Cheez-It, Ritz, or Graham crackers for snacks in the classroom. If your child cannot eat what we provide, please inform the teachers and bring appropriate snacks for them.
