Our Philosophy
The Rock is an awesome place where your child will experience a balance of recreation and education. Our philosophy is to provide opportunities for intellectual development and to give children an understanding of God's presence in the world. We will help them develop a positive self-image through the knowledge of God's love.
Our Goals
The goals of our program are to enhance the total growth of each child with:
- Music/music lessons

- Reading assistance
- Computer lab
- "Living classroom" Gardens
- Bible lessons
- Field trips
- Visits by community members/agencies
- Community service events
- Monthly themes/established curriculum
- Homework assistance
- Encouragement, laughter, and fun!

7:00 AM through 6:00 PM Monday through Friday
Our childcare options

- Before school care (Kindergarten through 14 years of age)

- After school care
- Both before & after school care
- Full-time summer care **
- Full-time care during spring break and winter break

**During one week in the month of June, Valley Baptist Church hosts Vacation Bible School. Your child may attend VBS. Care will be provided by The Rock staff before and after VBS hours.
